The most inspiring and most fun is to team up with other musicians to improvise and create music. Below are some groups I worked with. Also see my collaborations with some inspiring musicians on SoundCloud:

This is a throwback of a try-out gig my band The Dudes Left did in 2018. It was great fun! This snippet is our cover of  Spoooky (orig. by The Classic 4).
Line-up here: Mario Muller (bass), Jesse Pourier (drums), Humpfrey Roger Ottenhof (keyboard, backing vocals), me (vocals, flute, guitar). Thanks to all those present at the party and Marc Spaan for the video footage.

One of my favourite music festivals is Music Meeting, held in May every year in Nijmegen: http://www.musicmeeting.nl/

In 2015, I joined Mark Guiliana's workshopband at the Music Meeting.

It was a superb learning experience and a great group to play with. Regrettably, I only have a minute of footage from our stage appearance, but it gives an impression. Thanks to Mark and the band!

At the Music Meeting (MM) in 2016, I played in the No BS! Workshopband, lead by Reggie Pace of the No BS! Brass band (Virginia, USA). We met three times and Reggie did a good job in preparing us for a stage appearance. This clip shows our opening song "Ain't no Shame in my Game'. Thanks to MM, Reggie and all musicians in the group! It was great fun. Thanks to Nadia for the video footage.

I was member of the Improvisions Jazz Quartet.

This is from a gig in 2015. Mario Muller (bass), Pascal Janssen (drums), Cor van de Mey (sax); Ernst Spaan ( flute, guitar)
